Meet the Team
Dr. Eldon Cummings grew up near Seattle Washington where he participated in many sports focusing on soccer, baseball, and swimming. He went on to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and later achieving a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University. While in Utah, he met his wife, Jessica, and they currently have a young daughter named Carter Rae.
Eldon Graduated from PT school and immediately moved to Texas. Eldon finished an orthopedic residency through Evidence In Motion and after passing all board requirements was awarded his Orthopedic Clinical Specialty in order to better treat the unique needs of his patients. Eldon is always looking for unique and creative ways to help his patients meet their goals and make therapy as fun and effective as possible.
In what little free time he has, Eldon enjoys several hobbies such as board and video games, wood working, and participating in a master’s swimming program here in San Antonio. Eldon is also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was fortunate to be able to serve a two-year service and proselytizing mission in southwestern Brazil.
Dr. Eldon has experience treating and working with various patient populations including but not limited to: post-operative cases, sports rehab, work conditioning, DME and bracing, pain management, and injury prevention.

Dr. Jordan Mazick was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Mazick completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio by earning a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with specialization in Athletic Medicine. He then completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Mazick is a board-certified orthopedic specialist (OCS), and he is completing his fellowship in manual therapy. He is also certified in trigger point dry needling. Dr. Mazick’s professional interests include manual therapy, sports, chronic conditions, and playing an active role in returning patients to their optimal level of function.
Despite his professional accomplishments, Dr. Mazick is most proud of his title of husband and father as his favorite activity outside of the clinic is spending time with his wife, Julia and daughter, Penelope.
Jessica Garcia was born and raised in Cotulla, Texas. Jessica completed her undergraduate studies at Texas State University by earning a Bachelor of Exercise Sport Science. She then completed Physical Therapy Assistant school at St. Philips College.
Jessica has a passion for working with individuals of all ages to help them achieve their highest level of function. Jessica has completed a certification in orthopedics through Evidence in Motion, and she takes pride in providing quality, empathetic care.
When she is not in the clinic, you can find Jessica participating in competitive lifting competitions and spending time with her three dogs.
Dr. Caryn Kadous graduated from Auburn University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Fitness, Conditioning and Performance. She went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Iowa. She has since gone through the orthopedic residency program with Evidence In Motion and is now an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS).
Caryn has a background in artistic gymnastics, having participated and competed in the sport for 17 years. Her highest achievement in the sport was competing for the Auburn Gymnastics Team from 2011-2015. It was through gymnastics and her time in the training room, that Caryn began to find her passion for treating athletes and working in the outpatient orthopedic setting.
Outside of the workday, Caryn can usually be found at the gym, reading at a local coffee shop, catching up with her friends and family, or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen.
Clarissa Garcia was born and raised in Lake Jackson, TX, a small town just south of Houston. Clarissa completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Clarissa then continued her education at St. Philip’s College in San Antonio to earn her Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assisting. Clarissa has been practicing as a Physical Therapist Assistant since 2016, but she is in the process of completing the requirements to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy through The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
Clarissa’s professional interests include working with all different age groups, ranging from the geriatric population to competitive athletes. Clarissa is certified in LSVT BIG which is specific to treating individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Clarissa embraces the challenge of developing personalized treatment programs to assist patients in maximizing their function.
Clarissa’s hobbies include physical fitness as she competes in local Crossfit competitions. Clarissa also enjoys being outside and experiencing new things in the greater San Antonio region. Most of all, Clarissa is passionate about spending time with friends, family and her toy fox terrier, Vera.
